Vključujoča šola se razume kot šola, v kateri se vidi in sliši vsak učenec in učitelj ter se ustvari spodbudno vključujoče učno okolje. Za doseganje vključujoče šole morajo biti učitelji pripravljeni soočati se z raznolikostjo učencev na vseh področjih razvoja (telesni, spoznavni, čustveno-osebnostni, socialni) in kulture, videti in slišati vsakogar, imeti znanja in veščine ter biti pripravljeni za učenje in izzive. Vključevanje je kompleksen proces, ki zajema različne dejavnike. Med ključne štejejo strategije formativnega spremljanja, razvoj spodbudnega, psihološko varnega učnega okolja, vključujoče vodenje, čustveno in socialno opismenjevanje ter ustvarjanje in delovanje v učeči se skupnosti.

Abstract

Inclusive School – Exception or Rule

Inclusive school is a school, in which every single pupil and teacher are seen and heard, thus creating an encouraging and inclusive learning environment. In order to create an inclusive school, teachers should be prepared to cope with pupils who differ in all aspects of development (physical, cognitive, emotional-personal, and social) and culture, to see and to hear each individual, to possess appropriate knowledge and skills for that, and to be prepared to learn, as well as face challenges. Inclusiveness is a complex process which comprises various factors, the key ones being the strategies of formative monitoring, the development of encouraging and psychologically safe learning environment, inclusive management, emotional and social literacy, the creation of a learning community and working such community.
