Igre za po poti in doma: spodbujanje staršev k skupnim aktivnostim z otrokom za razvijanje bralne pismenosti v predšolskem obdobju


Izvleček

V prispevku predstavljamo pomen spodbujanja bralne pismenosti in družinske pismenosti. Poudarimo, kako pomembno je, da starši doma z otroki izvajajo različne aktivnosti, s katerimi spodbujajo k branju, ter navedemo nekatera gradiva, ki so lahko staršem pri tem v pomoč. V nadaljevanju predstavimo idejno zasnovo gradiv, ki so namenjena staršem, v obliki plakatov, na katerih so zbrani napotki in predlogi aktivnosti, ki jih lahko starši izvajajo z otroki za spodbujanje gradnikov bralne pismenosti. Opis idejne zasnove in vsi procesi, ki so se ob tem odvijali, kažejo na to, da je treba pri pripravi tovrstnih gradiv upoštevati perspektive različnih strokovnih področij, iskati konsenze in rešitve ter da nastanek takšnih gradiv zahteva multidisciplinaren pristop in timsko sodelovanje različnih strokovnjakov. Gradivo namreč združuje znanja s področja jezika, multimodalne pismenosti, umetniškega področja in področja družboslovja. Namen priprave jedrnatega in učinkovitega gradiva je, da bi z njim dosegli čim večje število staršev ter jih spodbudili, da izvajajo kratke, igrive aktivnosti z otroki.

Abstract

Games on the Go and at Home: Encouraging Parents to Participate in Shared Activities with Children to Develop Reading Literacy in Preschool Years

The article draws attention to the significance of increasing reading and family literacy. It stresses the necessity of parents engaging in various activities with their children to promote reading and provides some resources to help them do so. In what follows, we offer a conceptual design of resources for parents in the poster format and directions and suggestions for activities to promote the building blocks of reading literacy. The description of the conceptual design and all the processes occurring in the process has shown that the development of such materials necessitates including various professional perspectives, seeking consensus and solutions and that creating such materials requires a multidisciplinary approach and collaboration of different professionals. The content integrates knowledge in language, multi-modal literacy, the arts and social sciences. The materials are short and effective to reach as many parents as possible and encourage them to engage in short pleasurable activities with their children.
