Svoje poglede in izkušnje sta delili v intervjuju.
Abstract
Importance of Acting in Child‘s Best Interest
The transition from kindergarten to school requires integration at several levels: integration of kindergarten and school as institutions, integration of professionals, integration of pedagogical approaches and, last but not least, integration of kindergarten and school curriculum. The need for effective integration has recently been acknowledged by the heads of early childhood education and primary school departments at the National Education Institute of the Republic of Slovenia. They have been guiding counsellors, teachers and headteachers on how to regulate the area of transition, based on their long experience and knowledge of the legislative and professional bases. The highlighted areas relate to a stimulating learning environment, differentiation, individualisation and personalisation, formative monitoring of the child, and the necessary systematic changes in practice and at the system level. The interviewees discuss their perspectives and experiences.
