Po pogovoru z učiteljem in skupnem oblikovanju kriterijev samostojno oblikujejo svoje besedilo. Po sošolčevi in učiteljevi povratni informaciji napišejo novo besedilo in pri tem upoštevajo predlagane izboljšave. Proti koncu članka sledijo kritičen pogled učiteljice na izveden učni sklop in uporabna spoznanja za nadaljnje delo.

Abstract

Scaffolding Written Expression in English Based on Principles of Formative Assessment

This article presents a case study focused on writing in a seventh-grade primary school English class. It outlines a series of lessons in which students analyse provided texts to identify the criteria for effective writing. After discussing these criteria with the teacher and collaboratively refining them, students independently create their own written pieces. They then receive feedback from both their classmates and the teacher, which they use to revise and improve their work. Towards the end of the article, the teacher reflects critically on the lessons and offers valuable insights for future instruction.
