Perspektiva pozitivnega razvoja mladih v Sloveniji

Perspektiva pozitivnega razvoja mladih predpostavlja, da se bodo mladi pozitivno razvijali in uresničevali svoje potenciale, ko bodo njihove prednosti (notranji razvojni viri) usklajene z viri v njihovem okolju (zunanji razvojni viri). Rezultat bo prisotnost kazalnikov pozitivnega razvoja mladih (povezanost, skrb, kompetentnost, samozavest, karakter), manj tveganih vedenj in čustvovanj ter več prispevanja. V prispevku povzemamo ugotovitve raziskovalnega projekta Pozitivni razvoj mladih v Sloveniji: razvojne zakonitosti v kontekstu migracij (PYD-SI-MODEL), ki je skozi perspektivo pozitivnega razvoja mladih spremljal mlade v Sloveniji v obdobju enega šolskega leta ter na prehodu v naslednje šolsko leto s kombinacijo vzdolžnega in prečnega raziskovalnega načrta. Ugotovitve so postavljene v kontekst vzgoje in izobraževanja ob upoštevanju različnosti vseh kontekstov, ki jim pripadajo mladi.

Abstract

Positive Youth Development Perspective in Slovenia

The basic principle behind Positive Youth Development Perspective is that when a young person’s assets (internal development assets) are aligned with the available environmental resources (external development assets), they develop well and reach their full potential. This results in fewer risk-taking behaviours and emotions, more contributions, and the presence of youth development indicators (Competence, Confidence, Character, Caring, and Connection). The paper summarises the findings of the research project Positive Youth Development in Slovenia: Developmental Pathways in the Context of Migration (PYD-SI-MODEL), which used a combination of longitudinal and cross-sectional research designs to follow young people in Slovenia throughout a school year and the transition to the following school year from the perspective of Positive Youth Development. The research is discussed in relation to education while also considering a variety of circumstances in which young people find themselves.
