Pomen bližine v interakciji med učitelji in dijaki pri pouku slovenščine v gimnaziji

Povzetek

Cilj raziskave je bil ugotoviti, kako dijaki zaznavajo interakcijo s svojimi učitelji slovenščine v gimnaziji in kako zaznavajo učno klimo v razredu. Zanimalo nas je, ali se dijaki v svojih zaznavah razlikujejo glede na spol in učno uspešnost ter kakšne so povezave med interakcijo ter učno klimo. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 1051 dijakov gimnazij iz vseh slovenskih regij. Ugotovili smo, da fantje zaznavajo manj bližine v interakciji z učitelji ter manj ugodno učno klimo v razredu. Učno bolj uspešni dijaki pa v odnosih z učitelji zaznavajo več bližine ter bolj ugodno učno klimo. Na temelju rezultatov želimo opozoriti na pomen vzpostavljanja bližine učiteljev z dijaki ter spodbujanja vedenj, ki prispevajo k ugodnejši učni klimi v razredu.

Abstract

Importance of Closeness in Interaction between Teachers and Students during Slovenian Language Lessons in General Secondary School

The aim of this study was to determine how secondary school students perceive the interaction with their Slovenian Language teachers in general secondary school and how they perceive the learning climate in the classroom. We were interested in whether the students’ perceptions differ with regard to gender and academic achievement, and in the connections between interaction and learning climate. The survey encompassed 1,051 students of general secondary schools in all Slovenian regions. It has been established that boys perceive less closeness in their interaction with teachers and a less favourable learning climate in the classroom. On the other hand, higher achieving students perceive more closeness in their relationships with teachers and a more favourable learning climate. Based on these results, we wish to highlight the importance of establishing closeness between teachers and students, and of encouraging behaviours that contribute to a more favourable learning climate in the classroom.
