Izvleček
Prispevek predstavlja nekatere aktivnosti, ki so v Vrtcu Vransko in Vrtcu Tabor namenjene spodbujanju govorno-jezikovnega razvoja in potekajo v sklopu preventivne dejavnosti svetovalnega dela. V šolskem letu 2022/2023 je bilo staršem otrok vrtca ponujeno predavanje Branje in spodbujanje govorno- jezikovnega razvoja otrok. Predavateljici Katja Brezovnik, šolska knjižničarka, in Anita Zupanc, svetovalna delavka v vrtcu, sta predstavili pomen branja ter jih seznanili z razvojem govora pri otrocih ter konkretnimi primeri, s katerimi lahko izboljšamo otrokovo sposobnost poslušanja, razumevanja in govora. Avtorica v prispevku predstavi izvedbo delavnic, izvedenih v skupinah drugega starostnega obdobja. V sodelovanju s šolsko knjižničarko je bila prebrana in obenem odigrana zgodba, ob tem izvedene aktivnosti za urjenje slušne pozornosti ter vaje za jezik in za določene posamezne glasove.
Abstract
Reading and Promoting Children‘s Speech and Language Development in Vransko Kindergarten – A Counsellor‘s Preventive Language-Related Activities
The article presents some of the activities for promoting speech and language development that are being implemented in the Vransko Kindergarten and the Tabor Kindergarten as part of preventive counselling activities. In the 2022/2023 school year, the parents of children attending the two kindergartens were offered a lecture entitled Reading and Promoting Children’s Speech and Language Development. The lecturers Katja Brezovnik, a school librarian, and Anita Zupanc, a kindergarten counsellor, presented the importance of reading and talked about speech development in children, giving concrete examples of how to improve a child’s ability to listen, comprehend, and speak. In the article, the author presents the workshops which were implemented in sections of the second age group. In cooperation with the school librarian, a story was read and performed simultaneously; in the process, activities were implemented for practising active listening, tongue exercises, and exercises for articulating specific sounds.
