Članek opisuje inkluzijo otrok s posebnimi potrebami, in sicer je pozornost usmerjena na potrebe slepega dečka, ki obiskuje 7. razred osnovne šole in ga poučujeva avtorici članka (Andreja Verbinc, učiteljica matematike, in Simona Keber Kumše, spremljevalka). Učni načrt učitelje zavezuje, da prilagajajo poučevanje matematike učencem s posebnimi potrebami. Ker slep učenec sprejema informacije pri matematiki le po dveh kanalih (slušni in tipni), je treba nove pojme prikazati z modeli, ki so tipni. V članku so predstavljeni tisti, ki so bili uporabljeni pri obravnavi trikotnikov v 7. razredu. Uporabljeni so materiali, ki jih uporabljamo v vsakdanjem življenju, zato jih bodo lahko izdelali in uporabili učitelji matematike ali izvajalci dodatne strokovne pomoči tudi pri svojih rednih urah ali pri individualnem delu z učenci.
Abstract
I Am Touching Triangles
The article describes the inclusion of children with special needs, focusing on the needs of a blind boy attending the 7th grade of primary school, who is being taught by the authors of the article (Andreja Verbinc, mathematics teacher, and Simona Keber Kumše, attendant). The curriculum obligates teachers to adjust the teaching of mathematics for pupils with special needs. Since a blind pupil receives information in a mathematics class only through two channels (audio and tactile), new concepts must be demonstrated with tactile models. The article presents models which were used for a discussion on triangles in the 7th grade. The materials used are ones which we use in everyday life; therefore, mathematics teachers or providers of additional professional assistance can make and use them in their regular lessons or during individual work with pupils.
