Izvleček

Prispevek obravnava umeščanje skupnih ciljev v prenovljene učne načrte in kataloge znanja kot ključno sistemsko novost, katere namen je zagotoviti kakovostno splošno izobrazbo, usmerjeno v celostni razvoj učencev ter njihovo pripravljenost na izzive sedanjosti in prihodnosti. V središču razmisleka so učenci kot aktivni posamezniki, ki naj bi skozi vzgojno-izobraževalni proces razvijali znanja, spretnosti, vrednote in stališča za odgovorno, trajnostno in ustvarjalno delovanje v družbi. članek temelji na dokumentu Skupni cilji in njihovo umeščanje v učne načrte in kataloge znanja (2023), ki utemeljuje skupne cilje kot prečne razvojne usmeritve, povezane s temeljnimi kompetencami za življenje in delo v 21. stoletju. Prispevek osvetljuje, kaj vključitev skupnih ciljev pomeni za učence, učitelje in šolske skupnosti, ter izpostavlja priložnosti in pogoje za njihovo uresničevanje v vzgojno-izobraževalni praksi.

Abstract

Common Goals in the Reformed Curricula: A Basis of General Education for Contemporary Challenges

The article addresses the integration of common goals into revised curricula and knowledge catalogues as a key systemic innovation aimed at ensuring quality general education focused on the holistic development of students and their preparedness for the challenges of contemporary society. It places the learner at the centre as an active individual who, through the educational process, is expected to develop knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes for responsible, sustainable, and creative engagement in society. The article is based on the document Common Goals and Their Integration into Curricula and Knowledge Catalogues (2023), which defines common goals as cross-curricular developmental orientations linked to essential competencies for life and work in the 21st century. The article explores what the inclusion of common goals means for students, teachers, and school communities, highlighting the opportunities and conditions for their effective implementation in educational practice.
