Neprestano učenje pogoj za kakovostno delo v šolski knjižnici

Izvleček

Permanentno izobraževanje je ključno za strokovni razvoj šolskega knjižničarja. V hitro spreminjajočem se informacijskem in izobraževalnem okolju dolgoletne izkušnje same po sebi niso dovolj – le nenehno nadgrajevanje znanja omogoča učinkovito delo. Šolski knjižničar s stalnim učenjem spremlja nove tehnologije, digitalna orodja in izobraževalne pristope ter pridobljeno znanje pretvarja v interaktivne oblike za učence in sodelavce. Po zaključenih Arnesovih tečajih MOST je avtorica razvila konkretne primere dobre prakse, med drugim Virtualni sprehod po šolski knjižnici v orodju H5P z vključenimi interaktivnimi vprašanji ter izobraževalni video o uporabi sistema COBISS+ v programu Canva. Ideje za nastanek teh vsebin je dobila pri praktičnih nalogah, kjer je postopoma nadgrajevala znanje s področja interaktivnih gradiv, videoprodukcije in vizualne komunikacije. Arnesovi tečaji MOST tako omogočajo dostopno, fleksibilno in samostojno izobraževanje, ki ne ostane na teoretični ravni, temveč spodbuja takojšnjo uporabo znanja v praksi. S tem se krepijo digitalne kompetence, ki prispevajo h kakovostni, inovativni in vključujoči šolski knjižnici.

Abstract

Continuous Learning as a Prerequisite for Quality Work in the School Library

Ongoing education is essential for the professional development of the school librarian. In a rapidly changing informational and educational environment, years of experience alone are not sufficient – only continuous upgrading of knowledge enables effective work. Through constant learning, the school librarian keeps pace with new technologies, digital tools, and educational approaches, transforming the newly acquired knowledge into interactive formats for students and colleagues. After completing the Arnes MOST courses, the author developed concrete examples of good practice, including a Virtual Tour of the School Library created with H5P featuring embedded interactive questions, as well as an educational video on the use of the COBISS+ system produced in Canva. The ideas for these materials emerged through practical assignments, during which she gradually expanded her knowledge in the areas of interactive content creation, video production, and visual communication. The Arnes MOST courses provide accessible, flexible, and self-directed professional development that does not remain at a theoretical level, but encourages an immediate application of knowledge in practice. In this way, digital competencies are strengthened, contributing to a high-quality, innovative, and inclusive school library.
