Izvleček
V članku predstavljamo interdisciplinarni pristop k učenju o razvoju žabe. Oblikovali smo pesem Kaj bo to?, ki na zanimiv način prinaša biološke resnice o preobrazbi, ter jo uporabili za učenje, ki je potekalo ob gojenju mresta (in kasneje paglavcev ter žab) v igralnici. Vsakodnevno doživljanje živali in njihovo spreminjanje sta bili močna motivacija, ki smo jo želeli uporabiti za celostni napredek otrok, pri dejavnostih pa smo dali poudarek predvsem področju narave in glasbe. Ob vsaki pomembni spremembi in novi značilni fazi v razvoju žabe smo v pesem uvedli novo od osmih kitic, ki te spremembe opisujejo. Učenje pesmi je potekalo ob metodah vokalne demonstracije in imitacije, pripevanja in gibalnega ustvarjanja ob glasbi. Z dodanim slikopisom smo otrokom omogočili lažje pomnjenje besedila kitic. Ob vsaki razvojni fazi smo učenje povezovali tudi z likovnim izražanjem in ustvarjalnim gibanjem. Učinkovitost uporabljenih metod za učenje naravoslovja in glasbe smo ovrednotili z raziskavo, ki je vključevala individualne intervjuje pred dejavnostmi in po njih. Rezultati so pokazali pomemben napredek otrok na obeh področjih. V članku objavljamo notni zapis in slikopis pesmi ter predstavljamo dejavnosti.
Abstract
Integration of Natural Sciences and Music to Teach Life Cycle of Frogs in Preschool
This study presents an interdisciplinary approach to teaching frog development by integrating natural sciences and music. A custom song titled Kaj bo to? (What Will It Grow to Be?) was created to convey biological concepts of metamorphosis engagingly and memorably and to be used alongside hands-on learning as children observed and cared for frog spawns, newts, and tadpoles in their playroom. The interactive approach, which combined daily animal observations with music and movement, was a powerful motivator for learning. Each developmental stage of the frog life cycle was introduced through a new verse, a vocal demonstration, imitation and creative movement activities. A pictograph supported the children in recalling the song lyrics and stages. The activities also incorporated artistic expression to reinforce understanding. The effectiveness was assessed through individual interviews conducted before and after the activities, revealing significant improvement in their learning and musical skills. This paper includes the musical notation, supporting visuals, and activity plans.
