Izvleček
Prispevek odpira vprašanje o pomenu (slovenske) klasične literature v sodobnem šolskem prostoru ter ponuja razpravo o aktualnih didaktičnih izzivih pri njeni obravnavi. Poudarja trajni pomen klasične književnosti ter opozarja na dosedanjo zapostavljenost ženskih literarnih ustvarjalk v kurikularnih dokumentih. Obenem izpostavi novosti v prenovljenih učnih načrtih in katalogih znanj, ki prinašajo večjo zastopanost književnic, hkrati pa zahtevajo sodobne in v učenčevo izkušnjo usmerjene didaktične pristope, ki klasična besedila približajo mladim ter razvijajo njihovo kritično, kulturno ter jezikovno zmožnost.
Abstract
Jubilee Year of Zofka Kveder and Srečko Kosovel: Classical Literature Between Tradition and Contemporary Didactic Challenges
This contribution explores the significance of (Slovenian) classical literature in today’s school environment and discusses the current didactic challenges in its teaching. It emphasises the enduring importance of classical literature and draws attention to the historical neglect of female literary figures in curricular documents. At the same time, it highlights recent innovations in the reformed curricula and knowledge catalogues, which provide greater representation of women writers. These developments call for contemporary, student-centered didactic approaches that make classical texts accessible to young people and foster their critical, cultural, and linguistic competencies.
