V okviru pouka, v povezavi s knjižničnim informacijskim znanjem (dalje KIZ), v naši knjižnici pri iskanju gradiva na policah učencem nudimo dostop do računalniškega kataloga knjižnice. Na začetku je bil to samo spletni dostop, nato smo se spoznavali s katalogom na pametnih telefonih in tablicah, zdaj pa uporabljamo katalog v novi preobleki COBISS+. V okviru pouka KIZ v posameznih vzgojno-izobraževalnih obdobjih učencem predstavimo, kaj katalog je, kako se po njem išče, ter razložimo oznake (postavitev), zapisane v katalogu, v povezavi z dejanskimi oznakami na policah oz. knjižničnem gradivu (nalepka). Cilj učenja je, da učenec zna najti gradivo, ki ga išče. Omeniti velja tudi izvajanje KIZ v sklopu povezovanja z učitelji, ko se pouk za eno šolsko uro preseli v računalniško učilnico, kjer učenci najdejo vsa navodila v spletni učilnici (napotki, razlaga, videorazlage OPAC–a). Ob vsem tem, ob uporabi računalnika, i-table, tabličnega računalnika in pametnega telefona, krepimo tudi digitalno pismenost.

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology and Use of COBISS Catalogue of Prule Primary School

Within the scope of lessons, in connection with Library and Information Knowledge, our library provides pupils with access to the library’s computer catalogue when searching for materials on shelves. It had started as online access, but afterwards we familiarised ourselves with the catalogue on smartphones and tablets, and are now using the new version of the catalogue, COBISS+. During Library and Information Knowledge lessons in individual educational triads we show pupils what the catalogue is, how one searches it, and explain the markings (location) written in the catalogue, in relation to the physical markings on shelves or on library material (label). The learning objective is for pupils to be able to find the material they are looking for. It should be mentioned that Library and Information Knowledge can also be implemented in collaboration with teachers, who move their class to the computer classroom for one period; pupils are provided with all instructions in the online classroom (directions, explanation, OPAC video tutorial). In the process, by using a computer, iBoard, tablet computer and smartphone we are also improving digital literacy.
