V prispevku je predstavljen primer prakse, in sicer medpredmetne ure, pri kateri so bili preizkušeni nekateri elementi formativnega spremljanja. S formativnim spremljanjem želimo učence spodbuditi, da prevzamejo aktivnejšo vlogo pri svojem učenju in zanj tudi prevzamejo več odgovornosti kot do zdaj. Pri izvedeni uri je v ospredju element samovrednotenja, vendar ga je težko ločiti oz. izolirati od preostalih elementov, kot so poznavanje kriterijev, ugotavljanje predznanja, vrstniško sodelovanje … Elementi se med seboj prepletajo in dopolnjujejo in tako so bili pri izvedeni uri v bistvu prisotni vsi elementi v manjši ali večji meri. Učenci so s pomočjo slovarjev iskali neznane besede in potem so svoje iskanje samovrednotili.

Enriching the Vocabulary

This paper presents an example from practice, namely a description of an implemented cross-curricular lesson, in which certain elements of formative assessment were tested. Formative assessment is used to encourage students to take on a more active role in their learning process, and to assume greater responsibility for it. The implemented lesson focused on the element of self-assessment, however, it is difficult to separate or isolate it from other elements, such as knowledge of criteria, determining prior knowledge, peer cooperation, etc. These elements intertwine and complement one another, which means that, to a smaller or greater degree, all elements were present in the implemented lesson. Students looked up unknown words using dictionaries, after which they self-assessed their search.
