Izvleček
Mladi in tudi odrasli danes vedno manj berejo. Vzroke za to lahko pripišemo različnim dejavnikom. Eden od njih so elektronske naprave. To ugotavlja skupina mladih raziskovalcev OŠ Trbovlje, ki obiskujejo 6. do 9. razred. Da bi raziskali področje branja, so pripravili ankete za drugo- in tretješolce ter učence od 6. do 9. razreda. Intervjuvali so tudi knjižničarki in knjižničarja. Ugotovili so, da mladi raje berejo, če so v knjigi prisotni vizualni, tipni in slušni dražljaji, zato so želeli narediti prototip bralne sobe, kjer bi se ob glasnem branju izvajali različni efekti. In tako je nastala bralna škatla.

Magical Reading: A Project Within the International Tournament FIRST LEGO League (FLL)
Young people, as well as adults, today read less and less. The causes can be attributed to various factors, one of which are electronic devices. These are the findings made by a group of young researches from grades 6 to 9, attending the primary school OŠ Trbovlje. In order to study the area of reading, they prepared questionnaires for students from grades 2 and 3, as well as for students from grades 6 to 9. They also interviewed the librarians. As they found that young people prefer to read if books include visual, tactile and auditory stimuli, they wanted to build a prototype of a reading room where loud reading would produce various effects. This led to the creation of a reading box.
