Povzetek

V prispevku izhajamo iz procesa individualizacije, ki se odraža v vrednotnem sistemu mladih in vpliva na zmanjšanje pomena in občutka skupnosti. Povzamemo ugotovitve raziskav, ki izkazujejo individualistično usmerjene vrednote slovenske mladine in upadanje zaupanja mladih v demokratične institucije in procese, nizko raven družbene angažiranosti ter politične participacije. Poudarimo pomen državljanske vzgoje, ki mlade opolnomoči in spodbuja k aktivnemu, informiranemu in odgovornemu delovanju v smeri krepitve demokratične in pravičnejše družbe. Če sta integriteta posameznika in integriteta družbe neločljivo povezani in integriteta predstavlja temelj družbeni harmoniji in delovanju, je vloga vzgoje in izobraževanja pri krepitvi integritete učencev osrednjega pomena. Izpostavimo pomen oblikovanja varnega in spodbudnega učnega okolja, načrtovanja učinkovitega procesa poučevanja in učenja ter didaktične strategije, metode in oblike dela, ki prispevajo h krepitvi integritete otrok. V zaključnem delu predstavimo namen in cilje ter prve izkušnje pilotnega projekta Krepitev integritete učencev v osnovni šoli, ki ga v šolskem letu 2021/2022 skupaj s Komisijo RS za preprečevanje korupcije in petimi razvojnimi šolami izvajamo na Zavodu RS za šolstvo.

Abstract

Value of Strengthening Children’s Integrity at School Strengthening Student Integrity in Primary School – Pilot Project Preliminary Results

This article draws on the process of individualisation, which is refl ected in the value system of the youth, and which adversely affects the importance and the sense of community. It uses research findings to demonstrate the shift of Slovenian youth towards individualism, their loss of trust in democratic institutions and processes, and low levels of their social engagement and political participation. The importance of civic education, which empowers young people and encourages them to take an active, well-informed, and responsible approach towards a more democratic and egalitarian society. On the assumption that individual integrity and social integrity are inextricably linked, and that integrity is the foundation for social harmony and action, the role of education in strengthening student integrity is central. In the last section, the purpose, objectives, and the initial experiences of the pilot project Strengthening Integrity of Pupils in Primary School are presented. The project has been carried out throughout the 2021/2022 school year at the National Education Institute of the Republic of Slovenia together with the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, and five participating schools.
