V prvem delu prispevka je predstavljen izobraževalni sistem Evropske šole, njegova vloga v Evropski uniji, formalnopravni ter pedagoški okvir delovanja sistema, s posebnim poudarkom na vlogi Republike Slovenije pri razvoju in spremljanju programa Evropskih šol in zagotavljanju kakovosti poučevanja in učenja. Drugi del prispevka se osredotoča na položaj in vlogo slovenščine v Evropskih šolah, na temeljne kurikularne dokumente za pouk slovenščine, na cilje ter na didaktična izhodišča za pouk slovenščine na primarni stopnji in v prvem obdobju sekundarne stopnje izobraževanja.

Abstract

Slovenian Language at the Primary Level and in the First Period of Secondary Level of Education within the European Schools System

The first part of the article presents the education system of European Schools, its role in the European Union, and the legal and pedagogical framework of the system’s operation, with special emphasis on the role of the Republic of Slovenia in developing and monitoring the programme of European Schools, and in ensuring the quality of teaching and learning. The second part of the article focuses on the position and role of Slovenian Language in European Schools, on the fundamental curriculum documents for Slovenian Language lessons, on the objectives, and on the didactic premises for Slovenian Language lessons at the primary level and in the first period of the secondary level of education.
