Izvleček
Razvijanje naravoslovne pismenosti je ključnega pomena, saj posamezniku med drugim omogoča tudi kritično presojo. Prispevek prikazuje primere dejavnosti za razvijanje naravoslovne pismenosti pri pouku kemije z medpredmetnimi povezavami z biologijo, informatiko in knjižničnimi informacijskimi znanji ter možnosti vključevanja teh dejavnosti v obvezne izbirne vsebine. Poudarjen je tudi pomen medsebojnega sodelovanja med učitelji za razvijanje procesnih ciljev s poudarkom na gradnikih naravoslovne pismenosti.

Science Literacy Development Through Cross-Curricular Integration and Integration in Compulsory Elective Activities
Developing science literacy is essential for critical thinking, amongst other things. The article describes numerous activities to promote science literacy in chemistry lessons, with cross-curricular connections to biology, informatics, and library information skills, and the possibility of incorporating them into compulsory elective topics. The significance of teacher collaboration in developing process goals concentrating on the building blocks of science literacy is stressed.
