Na študijskih srečanjih v osnovnih in srednjih šolah smo se z učitelji matematike lotili preiskovanja. V vlogi
učečih smo si zadali cilj, da poiščemo čim več različnih načinov reševanja dane problemske naloge. Nekatere od načinov reševanja predstavljamo v prispevku.

Difference of Squares
At academic meetings in primary and secondary schools, we tried our hand at investigation with mathematics teachers. Assuming the role of learners, we set the goal of fi nding as many diff erent ways as possible of solving the given problem-solving task. Some of these ways are presented in the article.
