Promocija srednješolske knjižnice skozi različne aktivnosti na Ekonomski šoli Ljubljana


Izvleček

Prispevek predstavlja nabor aktivnosti na srednji šoli, ki jih izvaja šolska knjižničarka v sodelovanju s profesorji. Dejavnosti, ki so opisane, sledijo enemu pomembnejših ciljev šolske knjižnice, to je spodbujanje in motiviranje za branje. Posredno pa vse te aktivnosti promovirajo knjižnico kot prostor vseživljenjskega učenja in širjenja obzorij. Medpredmetna povezava s predmetom geografija, poimenovana Gost in knjiga, se je izkazala kot obogatitev učnega procesa. Vanjo se lahko prostovoljno vključujejo dijaki, ki želijo bolj aktivno sodelovati pri organizaciji in izvedbi dogodka, bodisi v vlogi moderatorjev pogovora, bodisi kot fotografi, bodisi pri pripravi učilnice. V članku sta opisana tudi dva bralna kluba, eden je namenjen dijakom Ekonomske šole Ljubljana, drugi pa njihovim staršem. Dijaki, ki radi berejo in se o knjigah pogovarjajo, so z odprtimi rokami sprejeli to možnost. Izziv predstavlja predvsem urnik, saj prihajajo iz različnih oddelkov in letnikov. Bralni klub za starše se je zelo dobro prijel, saj obstaja že tretje leto. Šolska knjižnica postane ustvarjalna delavnica v prazničnem času ali pa za potrebe različnih projektov (Pišem z roko, Eko šola) ter za potrebe šolskih dejavnosti (informativni dan, medgeneracijsko sodelovanje). Knjižničarka je tukaj v vlogi mentorice in podpora dijakom. Vključuje izdelovanje voščilnic, pripravo razstave, pripravo na obisk vrtca. Šolska knjižničarka nudi podporo tudi zaposlenim, v prizadevanjih za pridobitev kakovostne literature in z različnimi knjižnimi predlogi za izpeljavo razrednih ur. Za zaposlene pa pripravlja dogodek, imenovan Bralna tržnica. Odvija se dan pred počitnicami, namenjen pa je druženju in izposoji kakovostne literature.

Abstract

Promoting the High School Library Through Various Activities at the Economics School Ljubljana

The article presents a set of activities in secondary schools, carried out by the school librarian in collaborations with the teachers. The activities described follow one of the most important goals of the school library, which is to encourage and motivate reading. Indirectly, all these activities promote the library as a place of lifelong learning and broadening horizons. The cross-curricular integration with the subject of geography called The Guest and the Book has proven to be an enrichment of the learning process. Students who want to participate more actively in the organization and implementation of the event can voluntarily join, either as moderators of the conversation, as photographers, or in preparing the classroom. The article also describes two reading clubs, one for the students at the School of Economics Ljubljana and the other for their parents. The students who love to read and talk about books have embraced this opportunity with open arms. The challenge is mainly the schedule, as they come from different grades and classes. The reading club for parents has been very successful, having been in existence for three years. The school library becomes a creative workshop during the festive period of November and December or for the needs of various projects (I Write by Hand, Eco School) and school activities (presentation day, intergenerational connection). The librarian acts as a mentor and provides support for the students. The activities include making greeting cards, preparing exhibitions and preparing for the kindergarten visit. The school librarian also supports employees in their efforts to acquire quality literature and with various book suggestions for classroom lessons. For the employees, the librarian is preparing an event called the Reading Bazaar. It takes place the day before the holidays and is intended for socializing and borrowing quality literature.
