Medvrstniško spodbujanje branja v šolski knjižnici

Vseživljenjsko učenje je v hitro spreminjajoči se družbi postalo pogoj uspešnosti. Cilj pedagoškega dela v šolski knjižnici je razvijanje sposobnosti in spretnosti, ki spodbujajo aktivno pridobivanje kakovostnega znanja, kritično in ustvarjalno razmišljanje, izražanje čustev, misli in zaznav. Knjižničarji sodelujemo v vzgojno-izobraževalnem procesu in načrtujemo delo z učitelji šolskih predmetov z namenom izboljšati bralne navade in motivacijo za branje učencev. Prispevek predstavlja primere medvrstniškega spodbuja branja kot sredstva učenja in razvijanja trajnega interesa za branje. Predstavljene dejavnosti so rezultat ciljnega spodbujanja razvoja ključnih kompetenc učencev.

Abstract

Peer Reading Promotion in a School Library

In our rapidly changing society, lifelong learning has become a prerequisite for success. The aim of pedagogical work in a school library is to develop abilities and skills that promote the active acquisition of quality knowledge, critical and creative thinking, and expressing emotions, thoughts and perceptions. Librarians participate in the educational process and plan collaboration with the teachers of school subjects with the intention of improving the pupils’ reading habits and reading motivation. The article gives examples of peer reading promotion as a means of learning and developing a lasting interest in reading. The activities presented are the result of a targeted promotion of the development of pupils’ key competences.
