Povzetek
V Sloveniji smo leta 2017 prvič vzpostavili evidenco funkcionalno razvrednotenih območij. Popisali smo območja, kjer so se v preteklosti odvijale različne človekove dejavnosti, a je zaradi različnih vzrokov prišlo do njihove opustitve. Danes ta območja ostajajo povsem brez funkcije ali pa so le deloma izkoriščena. V novo prostorsko bazo je vključenih 1081 območij na skupni površini 3423 ha. Evidenca je javno dostopna prek spletne aplikacije, kar omogoča informiranje širše javnosti. Uporabna pa je tudi neposredno pri pouku geografije, kjer lahko z različnimi metodami dela, tudi terenskimi skupaj z učenci in dijaki, bistveno prispevamo k boljšemu poznavanju domačega okolja in razumevanju procesov, ki vplivajo na njegov prostorski razvoj. Namen prispevka je predstavitev in prenos povsem nove in aktualne vsebine trajnostnega (prostorskega) razvoja ter problematike funkcionalno razvrednotenih območij v osnovno- in srednješolsko izobraževanje.
Abstract
Functionally Derelict Areas – Current Situation in Slovenia and the Possibility of Integrating the Content into Primary and Secondary Education
Records of functionally derelict areas were first established in Slovenia in 2017. The information concerned areas where different human activities were performed in the past, but were then abandoned due to various reasons. Today, these areas remain non-functional or are only partially used. The new spatial database includes 1081 areas with a total surface of 3423 ha. The records are publicly available via an online application to allow access to the general public. It can also be used directly in geography class, where teachers can contribute significantly, by using different work methods, including field work, together with the students, to a better understanding of the home environment and the processes affecting its spatial development. The purpose of the article is to present and transfer a completely new and current topic of sustainable (spatial) development and the problem of functionally derelict areas in primary and secondary school education.
