Spremljanje znanja učencev je učiteljeva poglavitna naloga, saj mu omogoča kreiranje pouka in vodenje učencev do želenih znanj. Sodobni pouk s formativnim spremljanjem učencev omogoča celovit pristop k spremljanju znanja posameznega učenca. Učenci s takšnim načinom dela dobijo sprotno povratno informacijo na svoje dokaze o učenju in spodbude za nadgradnjo znanj. Učencem tovrsten pristop zagotavlja spodbudno učno okolje, zmanjšuje stres pred sumativnim vrednotenjem znanja in se kaže v pozitivnem odnosu do šolanja.

Formative Assessment for Less Stressful Knowledge Assessment

Monitoring pupils’ knowledge is the teacher’s primary task, as it enables the teacher to create lessons and guide pupils towards the desired knowledge. Modern lessons incorporating the formative assessment of pupils enable a comprehensive approach to monitoring the knowledge of each pupil. Through this method, the pupils receive instant feedback on their evidence of learning, and encouragement to build on their knowledge. This approach provides pupils with a stimulating learning environment, reduces stress before summative knowledge assessment, and is reflected in a positive attitude towards schooling.
