“Zmorem in hočem več”: nadarjen učenec pri pouku?

V prispevku so predstavljena sodobnejša spoznanja s področja razumevanja nadarjenosti in izobraževanja nadarjenih učencev, ki se omejujejo na psihološke vidike njihove obravnave. Osnovni diskurz se povezuje z vprašanjem razumevanja pojma nadarjenosti ter z utemeljitvijo pravice nadarjenih učencev do izobraževanja na ravni njihovih učnih potreb in potencialov. V okviru Mega modela razvoja nadarjenosti je pojasnjeno, da je razumevanje razvojnih značilnosti fenomena nadarjenosti ključno za kakovostno inkluzivno poučevanje nadarjenih učencev. Poleg izjemnih potencialov je zato izpostavljeno tudi motiviranje nadarjenih učencev, ki vsebinsko zaokrožuje prispevek in bralca spodbuja k premisleku glede konkretnih pedagoških pristopov, s katerimi bo lahko kakovostno prispeval k izobraževanju nadarjenih.

Abstract

»I Am Capable of and Want More«: Gifted Pupil in Class

This paper presents more recent findings in understanding giftedness and gifted education, which are limited to the psychological aspects of their treatment. The underlying discourse pertains to the issue of understanding the term ‘giftedness’ and to the assertion of the right of gifted pupils to receive education that matches their learning needs and potential. Under the Mega-Model of Talent Development, it explains that understanding the developmental characteristics of the phenomenon of giftedness is crucial for providing quality inclusive teaching of gifted pupils. Hence, in addition to extraordinary potential, it also highlights the act of motivating gifted pupils, which rounds off the content of the paper and encourages the reader to contemplate specific pedagogical approaches with which the reader could make a quality contribution to gifted education.
