Vzgajanje bralca in uporaba slikanice v 1. razredu

Učiteljice na razredni stopnji se trudimo, da bi vzgajale navdušene bralce, zato načrtujemo delo v razredu tako, da otrokom redno beremo in predstavljamo različne knjige, predvsem slikanice. Uporabljamo jih ne le pri pouku slovenščine, temveč jih vključujemo tudi v druge predmete in dejavnosti. Z medpredmetnim povezovanjem krepimo znanje otrok in večamo interes za delo. Slikanice ne uporabljamo le kot leposlovno, vzgojno in izobraževalno sredstvo, temveč tudi za motivacijo pri izvajanju različnih dejavnosti in kreativnem poustvarjanju. Izkušnje so pokazale, da učence 1. razreda slikanice zelo pritegnejo, saj jih motivirajo tako za začetno branje kot za delo v šoli.

Abstract

Raising a Reader and the Use Picture Books in First Grades

Teachers of the first five grades are striving to raise enthusiastic readers, which is why we plan our lessons in such way to regularly read to our pupils and introduce different books, especially picture books, to them. We incorporate books in various school subjects and activities, not only in Slovene lessons. Thanks to inter-subject connections, we are strengthening the pupils’ knowledge and increasing their interest in work. Picture books are not only used for literary and educational purposes, but also serve as motivational means for different activities and artistic re-creations. According to experience, first-graders are very much drawn to picture books, which function as a source of motivation for first reading steps, as well as school work.
