Vključevanje učencev priseljencev med šolskim letom

V prispevku je predstavljen način vključevanja učencev priseljencev, ki se v slovensko osnovno šolo vključijo med šolskim letom, pri čemer sta za kakovostno vključitev bistvenega pomena hitrost in sodelovanje strokovnih delavcev šole, učenca ter njegovih staršev. Prikazani so tudi konkretni primeri dela s priseljenci, ki jih izvajamo v Osnovni šoli Vide Pregarc. Pri vključevanju so nam v pomoč Smernice za vključevanje otrok priseljencev v vrtce in šole, na področju zakonodaje pa je velika vrzel, zato bi bilo treba na nivoju države urediti zakonodajo, ki bi olajšala delo strokovnim delavcem v šolah, učencem ter njihovim staršem pa omogočila lažje vključevanje v slovenski kulturni prostor.

Integration of Immigrant Students during the School Year

The paper presents a method for integrating immigrant students who enrol in a Slovenian primary school during the school year; it is essential for quality integration that the school’s professional staff, the student, and his/her parents respond quickly and cooperate with one another. It also shows actual examples of working with immigrants, as implemented at Vida Pregarc Primary School. During the integration process, we referred to the Guidelines for the Integration of Immigrant Children in Kindergartens and Schools; there is a big gap in legislation, which is why legislation should be adopted at the national level which would facilitate the work of the professional staff in schools, and enable students and their parents to be more easily integrated in the Slovenian cultural space.
