Izvleček
Otrok se v vsakdanjem življenju že zelo zgodaj sreča z matematiko. Števila, oblike, orientacija v prostoru in merjenje so vsebine, ki jih srečamo tako rekoč na vsakem koraku. Skupaj z dijaki Srednje šole Veno Pilon Ajdovščina smo za otroke iz Otroškega vrtca Ajdovščina pripravili delavnico z naslovom Igrajmo se matematiko v sklopu projektnega dne. Pripravili smo igre, materiale in situacije, vezane na matematične vsebine. Z matematičnimi dejavnostmi, ki jih otrok zmore izpolniti ob razvitejšem sovrstniku ali s pomočjo odrasle osebe, je otrok aktivni ustvarjalec lastnega učenja in razvoja.
Abstract
Secondary School Students and Kindergarten Children Discover Math Together
Mathematics is introduced to children early in their life. Numbers, shapes, spatial orientation, and measurement are all practical issues we encounter at every step. The Veno Pilon Ajdovščina Secondary School students, under my mentorship, prepared a workshop for children from the Ajdovščina Kindergarten, entitled Let‘s Play Math, for Project Day. We created games, resources, and situations based on mathematical concepts. Through these activities, children can work alongside more advanced peers or under the guidance of an adult, enabling them to become active participants in their learning and development.
