Izvleček
V prispevku je opisana spreminjajoča se vloga šolskega knjižničarja na višji strokovni šoli skozi daljše časovno obdobje, in sicer od ustanovitve šole do praznovanja njene dvajsete obletnice leta 2024. V tem obdobju se je na šoli zamenjalo več generacij študentov. Vsako obdobje so zaznamovali različni izzivi, ki jih v šolstvu nikoli ne zmanjka. Šolski knjižničar se mora hitro prilagajati informacijskim, komunikacijskim in tehnološkim spremembam, saj je le tako lahko v pomoč študentom pri zaključku študija. Šolski center Postojna – Višja strokovna šola želi biti prepoznavna tudi po tem, da študenti niso le številka, ampak se jim z veseljem pomaga pri njihovi poti študija – od začetka do zaključka. V prispevku opisujem, s kakšnimi izzivi in pristopi sem se soočala v času zaposlitve na višji strokovni šoli.
Abstract
Changing the Role of School Librarian in a Higher Education Library
The article describes the changing role of a school librarian in a higher education professional school over a longer period of time, form the school’s beginnings to its twentieth anniversary in 2024. During this period, the school saw many generations of students, with each bringing different challenges that are never lacking in education. The school librarian has to adapt quickly to the changes in information, communication and technology, as this is the only way he or she can be of help to students completing their studies. The higher education professional school School Centre Postojna wants to be known as an education institution where students are not only a number but where help is gladly offered to them all along their journey – from the beginning to the end of their studies. In the article, the school librarian presents the challenges and approaches she encountered during her employment at the professional school.
