Povzetek

Prispevek obsega predstavitev metodologije in vsebine novega spletnega vprašalnika za ocenjevanje spretnosti odraslih. Predstavi razloge za njegovo vpeljevanje kot tudi domet in nekatere omejitve. Med razlogi za vpeljevanje spletnega orodja je poudarjeno, da se poleg dobro utečenih nacionalnih merjenj kaže tudi potreba po gibkih in relevantnih metodah in instrumentih, ki bi omogočali takojšnje in zanesljive podatke o razvitosti spretnosti tako posameznika kot celotnih ustanov ali celo področij oz. panog. Posebej se izraža vse večja potreba po zanesljivih merskih instrumentih, ki bi tudi strokovnjakom, ki niso eksperti za specifična področja, omogočili, da pridobijo takojšnje uporabne podatke o različnih spretnostih posameznika. Po drugi strani postaja še posebej za gospodarstvo vse bolj pomembno, da imamo razvite take instrumente, ki omogočajo ugotavljanje in merjenje vrzeli v splošnih ali temeljnih kompetencah, ki so najteže merljive. To je izjemno pomembno za dolgoročnejše napovedovanje potreb po kadrih na eni strani ter natančnejše prilagajanje potrebam konkretnega posameznika na drugi strani. Pri tem pa ne gre zanemariti, da je za odrasle pomemben celostni pristop pri obravnavi posameznikovih potreb, povezanih z delom, izobraževanjem, razvojem kariere in dvigom kakovosti življenja.

Abstract

On-line Questionnaire »Assessment of Adult Competencies«

The article presents the methodology and content of a new on-line questionnaire for assessing adult competencies, and discusses the reasons for its introduction as well as its scope and some of its limitations. It is emphasised that in order to provide immediate and reliable data on the development of the competencies of individuals, institutions, or even of fields or disciplines, flexible and relevant methods and instruments need to be used alongside the well-established national measurements. The article stresses a growing need for reliable measurement instruments that would enable those professionals who are not experts in specific fields to obtain immediate data on the various competencies of an individual. On the other hand, the development of instruments that enable the identification and measurement of gaps in general or basic competencies, which are the most difficult to measure, is becoming increasingly important, especially for the economy, namely for the long-term prediction of staffing needs and for the better adjustment to the needs of a specific individual. The author concludes by saying that the importance of a comprehensive approach to the examination of an adult’s work-related needs, education, career development and improvement in the quality of life should not be ignored.
