Šolsko svetovalno delo, vseživljenjska karierna orientacija in izzivi sodobnega časa

Povzetek

Družbene in gospodarske spremembe ter tehnološki razvoj in inovacije, ki smo jim priča v zadnjih desetletjih, se zrcalijo v nenehno spreminjajočem se trgu dela. Navedene spremembe odsevajo tudi v potrebi po spremenjenih in novih pristopih vseživljenjske karierne orientacije. V projektu Opolnomočimo mlade na karierni poti smo na podlagi znanstvenih temeljev in empiričnih podatkov izpostavili izzive, s katerimi se v današnjem času srečuje šolsko svetovalno delo na področju vseživljenjske karierne orientacije v osnovnošolskem in srednješolskem izobraževanju. V prispevku predstavljamo bistvene izzive, ki smo jih v projektu identificirali skupaj s svetovalnimi delavci, ter teoretsko in empirično podprte predloge, kako bi te izzive v širšem slovenskem izobraževalnem prostoru lahko presegli. Posebno pozornost namenjamo povezanosti kariernega, osebnostnega in socialnega razvoja v sodobnih pristopih vseživljenjske karierne orientacije.

Abstract

School Counselling Work, Lifelong Career Orientation and the Challenges of Modern Times

The social and economic changes, and the technological development and innovations that we have been witnessing in recent decades are reflected in the constantly changing labour market. The aforementioned changes are also reflected in the need for modified and new lifelong career orientation approaches. Based on scientific foundations and empirical data, the project Creative Awareness Raising and Empowerment for Employability and Resiliency highlighted the challenges faced by school counsellors today in the field of lifelong career orientation in primary and secondary school education. The paper presents the crucial challenges which were identified under the project with help from counsellors, and theoretically and empirically substantiated suggestions on overcoming said challenges in the broader Slovenian educational space. Special attention is devoted to the interconnection of career, personal and social development in contemporary lifelong career orientation approaches.
