Povzetek
Otroci so danes že v najzgodnejših letih močno izpostavljeni filmskim in drugim avdiovizualnim vsebinam. Ko pokukajo iz plenic, se srečajo z risankami, filmi, pa tudi različnimi javnimi in zasebnimi posnetki, tako v družinskem okolju kot v vrtcu in šoli. Čeprav je filmska umetnost vključena v vrtčevski kurikul, pa pedagoški pristopi na področju filma za to starost še niso dobro razviti, ampak so prepuščeni predvsem iznajdljivosti vzgojiteljev in vzgojiteljic, kulturnih ustanov in ustvarjalcev. Pomanjkanje se čuti tudi na področju ponudbe filmov za najmlajše, ki bi bili estetsko, vsebinsko, tematsko in avtorsko raznoliki. Medtem ko v mnogih državah sistematično urejajo pravice za dostop do zbirk klasičnih in sodobnih filmov, v Sloveniji na tem področju še nismo naredili niti prvih korakov.
Abstract
Programme Cinemini: Film Education for Younger Audiences
Children can be significantly impacted by film and other audio-visual content from an early age. As soon as toddlers ditch the diaper, they come across cartoons, films, various public and private recordings, in the family environment as well as in kindergartens and schools. Although film art is included in the kindergarten curriculum, pedagogical approaches to teaching film to young children have not been well developed yet. Quite the reverese, they are mostly dependent on the ingenuity of pre-school teachers, cultural institutions and film-makers. There is a limited selection of films for younger audiences that promote diversity in film aesthetics, content, theme and authorship. However, whilst in many countries a collective copyright licence enables teachers to legally access classic and contemporary films, this is not the case in Slovenia.
