Povzetek

Razmere na trgu dela so danes močno zaostrene. Mnogi mladi po končanem izobraževanju ostajajo brez zaposlitve ali so ujeti v začarani krog negotovih zaposlitev, zaposlitev za določen čas, s tem pa v negotov socialni in ekonomski položaj. Odločitev o nadaljnjem izobraževanju zahteva od mladostnikov veliko mero odgovornosti, zato je pomembno, da mladostnik sprejme tovrstno odločitev postopoma, da pred tem pozna svoje želje, interese in življenjske cilje. Pri spoznavanju vseh teh dejavnikov mu mora stati ob strani tudi šolska svetovalna služba. Šolski svetovalni delavci so običajno tisti, ki se na šolah največ ukvarjajo s karierno orientacijo. Zapisano jo imajo kot eno izmed temeljnih področij dela v Programskih smernicah za delo svetovalne službe v osnovni in srednji šoli (2009). V letošnjem letu poteka proces posodabljanja programskih smernic. Kako se programske smernice implementirajo v praksi?

Abstract

Modernisation of Programme Guidelines for the Practice of the School Counselling Service in the Field of the Career Orientation of Students and the Impact of the Foreseen Modernisations on Practice

Today, the labour market conditions are highly strained. After finishing their education, many young people remain unemployed or trapped in a vicious circle of unsteady jobs and employment for a fixed period of time, and, consequently, in an uncertain social and economic position. The decision on further education requires a great deal of responsibility from adolescents, which is why it is important that an adolescent makes such a decision gradually, after becoming aware of his/her desires, interests and life goals. When getting to know all of these factors, the school counselling service must offer him/her support. Of all the staff at the school, school counsellors are usually the most involved in career orientation. The latter is even included in the Programme Guidelines for the Practice of the Counselling Service in Primary and Secondary School (2009) as one of their basic areas of work. This year, the process of modernising the programme guidelines is underway. How are the programme guidelines being implemented in practice?
