Odnos do naravoslovja – aktualni izzivi razvijanja naravoslovne pismenosti

Izvleček

Zavedanje o pomenu razvoja naravoslovne pismenosti kot enega od elementov globalnega izobraževanja je v projektu NA-MA POTI povezalo nosilce akterje formalnega splošnega izobraževanja v Sloveniji, kot so Zavod RS za šolstvo, vse tri javne univerze in izobraževalne ustanove (vrtci, osnovne in srednje šole). V prispevku posebej poudarjamo, zakaj je odnos do naravoslovja prepoznan kot eden ključnih elementov za uspešno in celovito razvijanje naravoslovne pismenosti in kako, ter osvetlimo pristope v podporo pozitivnega razvoja odnosa do naravoslovja.

Abstract

Attitudes Towards Science: Current Challenges in Developing Science Literacy

The NA-MA POTI project brought together key actors in formal general education in Slovenia, such as the Slovenian National Institute of Education, all three public universities, and educational institutions (kindergartens, primary, and secondary schools), to raise awareness of the importance of science literacy development as one of the elements of global education. The paper discusses why and how attitudes towards science are vital for the successful and comprehensive promotion of science literacy and techniques to encourage positive attitudes towards science.
