Abstract
Strengthening the Mobility between Schools in the Border Region
For the past few years, the primary school of Josip Vandot in Kranjska Gora has taken part in multilingual and intercultural activities with Austrian (and previously also with Italian) schools. Their cooperation in the innovative project called Crossborder cooperation between schools – challenge or everyday practice has further upgraded their cross-border cooperation. It especially highlights multilingual and intercultural activities within different workshops. Those are comprehensively designed and adapted to students in Slovenian and Austrian schools in the border region, while regarding their different interests and languages in the border region. The workshops are supported with the multilingual and intercultural didactic game Tromejček (Tripoint) for the learning of the three languages in the border region, i.e., Slovenian, German and Italian, which is further explained in the article.
