V osnovni šoli na področju varne/trajnostne mobilnosti potekajo različne dejavnosti. Na OŠ Janka Padežnika Maribor poteka vertikalna povezanost med vzgojnoizobraževalnimi obdobji, v sklopu različnih dejavnosti za učence od prvega do devetega razreda, zadnji dve leti pa tudi v sklopu razširjenega programa. Učenci skozi dejavnosti izražajo svoja močna področja, kar predstavlja motivacijski temelj formativnega spremljanja učenčevega napredka. Aktivnosti na področju prometne varnosti namreč učencem ponujajo mnogo priložnosti za odkrivanje in razvijanje njihovih močnih področij, kar krepi njihovo samopodobo in zaupanje v lastne zmožnosti. Predvidevamo, da slednje učenca motivira na poti k njegovemu lastnemu učnemu napredku. Pri razvijanju kulture vsakodnevnega varnega ravnanja v prometu zaposlene na šoli vodi zavedanje, da je krepitev kompetence znanja in vedenja prometne varnosti za učence pomembna popotnica za nadaljnje življenje.

Abstract

Big and Small Wheels under an Umbrella

Various activities are taking place in primary school relating to safe/sustainable mobility. At the Janko Padežnik Primary School Maribor, the educational triennia are vertically integrated through different activities for pupils from grades 1 to 9, and in the last two years also within the context of the after-school programme. Through these activities, the pupils demonstrate their strong points, which denotes a motivational foundation of the formative assessment of a pupil’s progress. Activities relating to traffic safety provide pupils with many opportunities to discover and develop their strong points, which builds their self-image and trust in their own abilities. It is believed that the latter motivates pupils on the path towards their own learning progress. When developing the culture of daily safe traffic behaviour, school employees are guided by the awareness that strengthening the competence of traffic safety knowledge and behaviour is an important stepping stone towards the pupils’ future. From the social responsibility aspect, we want to turn safe mobility into sustainable mobility.
