Aktivno državljanstvo – kako premagati predsodke, stereotipe in stigme pri zapornikih

Na osnovi teme Ponovna socializacija ali resocializacija iz učbenika za sociologijo za srednje strokovne in poklicno-tehnične šole in povzete strokovne literature bom v pričujočem članku pisala o soočanju mladih s specifičnimi skupinami, ki so v družbi stigmatizirane, pa tudi o ljudeh, ki imajo izkušnjo s prestajanjem zaporne kazni. Kako na tovrstno stvarnost gledajo mladostniki? Kot (bodoči) aktivni državljani pravne, socialne, demokratične države in države blaginje bodo v okviru srednješolskega izobraževanja virtualno in prek igre vlog simulirali situacije, ki privedejo do aktivacije močnih čustev zaradi predsodkov in diskriminacije. Osrednja tema mojega prispevka je torej soočanje s predsodki in stereotipi ter njihovo premagovanje.

Abstract

Active Citizenship: How to Overcome Prejudices, Stereotypes and Stigmas toward Prisoners

Based on the topic Resocialization from the sociology textbook for secondary technical and vocational schools and the reviewed professional literature, I will talk about familiarizing young people with specific groups that are stigmatized in society, and about people who have experienced imprisonment. How do adolescents view such realities? As (future) active citizens of a social and democratic country governed by rule of law, and of a welfare state, secondary school students will simulate situations that activate strong emotions due to prejudices and discrimination, both virtually and through role-play. Thus, the central topic of the article is addressing and overcoming prejudices and stereotypes.
