Izvleček
V članku je predstavljena prenova učnih načrtov za matematiko v osnovni šoli in gimnaziji ter katalogov znanj za matematiko v poklicnem in strokovnem izobraževanju, ki je potekala v sklopu slovenske kurikularne prenove od leta 2022 naprej. Prikazano je delo Predmetne kurikularne komisije za matematiko (PKK MAT) in ključni poudarki njenega delovanja. Članek se osredotoča na vidike, ki se nanašajo na delovanje komisije kot celote z namenom, da se poudari vertikalna nadgradnja matematičnega znanja iz razreda v razred in iz osnovne šole v srednjo šolo ter opravi korak k poenotenju terminologije in simbolike. Pri svojem delu je PKK MAT zasledovala odgovor na vprašanje, kakšnega učenca in dijaka si želimo ter kakšno znanje matematike naj ta ima z vidika pričakovanj sodobnega sveta.
Abstract
Reform of Mathematics Curriculum and Knowledge Catalogues
This article presents the mathematics curriculum reform for primary schools and grammar schools, along with the mathematics knowledge catalogues for vocational and technical education, which have been under way as part of the Slovenian curriculum reform since 2022. It highlights the work of the Subject Curriculum Commission for Mathematics and the key aspects of its activities. The focus is on the commission’s efforts to promote vertical progression of mathematical knowledge across grade levels, from primary to secondary school, while also working towards the harmonisation of terminology and notation. The commission seeks to address the question of what qualities we want in primary and secondary school students and what math ematical knowledge they should possess in light of contemporary societal expectations.
