Prispevek zajema širšo sliko glasbene umetnosti na ravni osnovne šole, osredotoča se na stik z glasbenimi vsebinami, omogočanje učenja ter rasti v temeljnih kompetencah s pomočjo pouka glasbe pri rednem pouku, pevskih zborih, izbirnih glasbenih predmetih in tudi manj formalnih oblikah, ki nudijo možnosti glasbenega ustvarjanja. Poudarek je na petju kot temeljni glasbeni dejavnosti, pomembni za posameznika in kulturo skupnosti. Izlušči pomen kvalitete, ki naj jo vzpostavi šola ter odgovornost pedagoga/učitelja/zborovodje kot ključne osebe, zavedajoče se pomena dobre izobrazbe, vzgoje ter dolgoročnega vpliva na skupnost.
Abstract
Music and Children’s Wellbeing: From Aspiration to Empirical Facts
The article provides a comprehensive overview of music education at the elementary school level. It focuses on exposure to musical content, facilitating learning and growth in foundational competencies through music instruction in regular classes, choirs, elective music subjects, and informal avenues enabling musical creativity. The emphasis is on singing as a fundamental musical activity essential for both individual development and community culture. The author highlights the importance of stablishing quality music education in schools and the critical role of educators and choir conductors who are vital in recognising the significance of effective education, upbringing, and the long-term impact on the community.
