Abstract
Mid-Atlantic Astronomy Summer Programme
During last summer school holidays, an engaging week-long astronomy course took place aimed primarily at physics teachers from various European countries. The venue of the international summer school was held in a hybrid format, i.e., partly ‚online‘ in San Cristobal de La Laguna on the island of Tenerife. The school was organised by the Astrophysics Institute of the Canary Islands [1] IAC and [2] NUCLIO (coordinator of the Galileo teacher training program) in collaboration with [3] the Faulkes telescope project, [4] the National School Observatory and the CESAR team (ESA-INTA-ISDEFE) in partnership with [5] the European School Innovation Academy (ESIA). Credit for the financial support of the participants goes to the Erasmus+ project.
