Izvleček
Pri pouku kemije so dijaki novo snov spoznavali s pomočjo različnih virov. Ob tem je zelo pomembno, da znajo kritično ovrednotiti zapisane informacije in tudi vire, v katerih se te informacije nahajajo. Kot vir informacij so uporabili tiskano gradivo, ki je bilo na voljo v razredu in knjižnici, in tudi spletne vire. Med tiskanimi viri so uporabili različne učbenike za kemijo, kemijske leksikone in podatkovnike, splošne leksikone in enciklopedije (referenčno gradivo), izbrane poljudnoznanstvene revije z označenimi članki s kemijsko vsebino. Spoznali so kriterije za vrednotenje virov in kazalnike za presojanje verodostojnosti in zanesljivosti spletnih strani. Te knjižnične vsebine so bile integrirane v pouk kemije in poleg zastavljenih ciljev s področja kemije so dijaki usvojili tudi knjižnične vsebine – cilje iz kurikula knjižnično informacijsko znanje.
Abstract
Substances – The Composition of Substances and Its Impact on the Properties of Substances
During chemistry lessons, secondary school students learnt about a new substance through different sources. It is very important that students are able to critically evaluate written information and the sources containing this information. Their sources of information were the printed materials available in the classroom and library, and online sources. The printed materials used were: various chemistry textbooks, chemistry lexicons and books of facts, general lexicons and encyclopaedias (reference materials), select popular science magazines with marked chemistry-related articles. The students learnt the criteria for evaluating sources and the indicators for assessing the credibility and reliability of websites. These library contents were integrated into chemistry lessons; besides meeting the set chemistry-related objectives, the students also acquired library knowledge – meeting objectives from the library information skills curriculum.
