Vloga in naloge mentorja učencu pri pripravi raziskovalne naloge na primeru raziskovanja geografskih potencialov za energetsko samooskrbo domačega kraja

Izvleček

Raziskovalne naloge lahko osnovnošolcem predstavljajo pomembno nadgradnjo že usvojenega znanja, hkrati pa jim njihova priprava omogoča razvijanje radovednosti, kritičnega mišljenja, jih navaja na raziskovalno delo, kar jim koristi pri nadaljnjem šolanju. V članku so predstavljeni potek priprave in rezultati raziskovalne naloge osmošolca na temo ugotavljanja geografskih potencialov za energetsko samooskrbo domačega kraja. Izpostavljene so vloga in naloge mentorja pri uspešnem vodenju in podpori učenca v celotnem postopku priprave raziskovalne naloge.

Abstract

Mentors‘ Role and Responsibilities in Preparing Research Project on Geographical Potentials for Hometown Energy Self-Sufficiency

Research assignments can be a vital opportunity for primary school students to improve their existing knowledge while also developing curiosity, critical thinking, and research skills that will benefit them in their future schooling. This article describes the preparation and findings of an eighth-grade student‘s research assignment on identifying geographical potentials for energy self-sufficiency in his hometown. The mentor‘s role and responsibilities in effectively advising and supporting the student throughout the research paper preparation process are stressed.
