V objemu kapucinske knjižnice Krško: bibliopedagoško druženje z mladimi

Valvasorjeva knjižnica Krško, ki se nahaja v neposredni bližini knjižnice Kapucinskega samostana Krško, dediščino samostanske knjižnice s ponosom upravlja in predstavlja (mladim) obiskovalcem v okviru knjižnične vzgoje. Bližina samostanske knjižnice predstavlja dodano vrednost bibliopedagoški in domoznanski dejavnosti splošne knjižnice, saj omogoča knjižnično in knjižno vzgojo o zgodovini knjige in starih tiskih v primarnem okolju. Pomembno skupino obiskovalcev predstavlja šolajoča se mladina. Program predstavitve knjižnice je prilagojen starostni stopnji, času in interesu skupine ter obsega predstavitev zgodbe knjižnice in njenih knjižnih zakladov kakor tudi rokovanje s starimi knjigami. Takšno bibliopedagoško druženje predstavlja dopolnitev formalnega izobraževanja s področja zgodovine, književnosti, knjižne in knjižnične vzgoje, pa tudi (kulturne) vzgoje na splošno. Seznanjanje z lokalnim kulturnim spomenikom ima velik pomen tudi za ustvarjanje in utrjevanje lokalne kulturne identitete. Primarni namen prispevka je predstaviti potek in pomen bibliopedagoške ure v okviru domoznanske dejavnosti v pristnem okolju lokalnega kulturnega spomenika. Dopolnjuje ga pregled slikanic z ustrezno oziroma sorodno tematiko kot primerno sredstvo za seznanjanje z osnovami samostanskih knjižnic in zgodovine knjige.

Abstract

In the Embrace of Capuchin Library Krško: Bibliopedagogical Socializing with the Youth

Valvasor Library Krško, located near the library of the Capuchin Monastery Krško, proudly manages and introduces the heritage of the monastic library to young visitors as part of their library education. The proximity of the monastic library to the public one adds value to the bibliopedagogical and local studies of the latter. Th is way, the public library has the ability to acquire and pass on the knowledge in book history and old prints in its primary environment. Students are an important group of its visitors. The programme of library presentation is adapted to the age, time and interest of the group, encompassing the story of the library and its book treasures as well as the handling of old books. Such bibliopedagogical socializing presents not only added value to the formal education on history, literature, library and book education but also to (cultural) education in general. Being familiarised with the local cultural monument has great meaning for the awareness of local cultural identity. Th e primary purpose of the article is to present the course and the meaning of the bibliopedagogical hour as part of the local study activity in a genuine environment of the local cultural monument. Th e paper is supplemented by a review of picture books with related content as a suitable means of learning the basics of monastic libraries and book history.
