V knjižnico po znanje o raziskovalnem delu pri pouku biologije

Prispevek predstavlja izvedbo medpredmetne povezave med biologijo in knjižničnim informacijskim znanjem (KIZ) pri raziskovalnem delu učencev v 8. razredu. Učenci so ponovili in utrdili svoje znanje o izbiri in navajanju virov. Na uvodni delavnici so se srečali z oblikovanjem povzetka in predstavitve. V knjižnici so izbrali ustrezno literaturo, med drugim tudi članek iz revije, ki so ga navedli s pomočjo knjižničarke. Na nadaljevalni delavnici so pridobljeno znanje uporabili pri delu v skupinah, kjer so oblikovali povzetke, jih med seboj primerjali in nato poročali preostalim članom skupine.

Abstract

Gaining Knowledge on Biology Research Work by Going to the Library

The article introduces the implementation of a cross-curricular connection between biology and library information skills in the eighth-grade students’ research work. The students repeated and strengthened their knowledge on selecting and citing sources. The initial workshop introduced them to the concepts of summary and presentation. In the library, they selected the required literature, including a magazine article which they referenced with the librarian’s help. At the following workshop, they used the acquired knowledge in group work, writing summaries, comparing them and giving reports to other group members.
