Povzetek

Šola kot odprt in varovalni prostor mora poskrbeti za pogoje, ki omogočajo, da učenci priseljenci lahko dosežejo cilje in standarde znanja, da se dobro naučijo jezik okolja in se v okolje socialno integrirajo. Za učence priseljence pripravimo individualizirane programe, v katerih so opredeljene prilagoditve, ki so potrebne za uspešno vključevanje v vzgojno-izobraževalni sistem. V OŠ Martina Krpana skozi različne šolske in obšolske dejavnosti načrtno razvijamo večkulturnost kot novo obliko sobivanja, kajti prav večkulturno in večjezično okolje je pogoj za uspešno integracijo učencev priseljencev.

Abstract

Successful Integration of Children of Immigrants from Other Language and Cultural Environments into Primary School

The school, as an open and protective space, must provide conditions that enable immigrant pupils to achieve the knowledge objectives and standards, to learn the language of the environment well, and to become socially integrated into the environment. Individualised programmes are prepared for immigrant pupils, specifying the adjustments needed for them to be successfully integrated into the education system. Here at Martin Krpan Primary School we are systematically developing multiculturalism through various school and extracurricular activities as a new form of coexistence, since a multicultural and multilingual environment is a condition for the successful integration of immigrant pupils.
