Izvleček
Učitelji so lahko s sposobnostmi lastne čustvene regulacije učencem in učenkam pomembna in zanesljiva čustvena podpora. To, kako učitelj obvlada svoja čustva, misli, vedenje in komunikacijo, je pomemben zgled, po katerem se učenci in učenke učijo nadzirati svoj čustveni in miselni svet. S tem se učijo sprejemanja odgovornosti do zdravega odnosa s sabo in drugimi. Pri tem lahko učinkovito pomagajo strategije s pomočjo glasbe in petja, ki ju lahko uporabimo kot izjemno regulacijsko orodje za krepitev dobrega počutja učenk in učencev. Predstavljena je terapevtska oblika uporabe glasbe in petja za celosten pristop k umirjanju čustev, misli učenk in učencev, ki ga pri poučevanju lahko uporabljajo tudi učitelji glasbe.
Abstract
Using Music and Song for Emotion Regulation and Mental Health Promotion in Children and Adolescents
Teachers can provide students with solid and reliable emotional support by applying their own emotion regulation skills. How teachers manage their emotions, thoughts, behaviour, and communication is a meaningful model for students to learn how to control their emotional and mental world. In doing so, they learn to take responsibility for a healthy relationship with themselves and others. Music and singing practices can be employed as an effective regulating tool to improve student well-being. This study describes a therapeutic method of utilising music and singing to calm students‘ emotions, minds, and thoughts, which music teachers can also implement in their classrooms.
