Razvili smo animacijo in AR (obogatena resničnost, ang. Augmented Reality) predlogo s sliko modela kože, dopolnjene z dodatnimi informacijami v obogateni resničnosti, s katerima smo želeli učencem približati zgradbo kože in procese, ki potekajo v njej.

Abstract

Animation and Augmented Reality Technologies in Education

Not only is using digital tools in the learning process a motivational element for primary pupils, but it also brings hidden and abstract content and processes closer to their attention. They create an engaging learning environment in which students grow the desire to explore, think, collaborate, and simultaneously acquire the skills and knowledge needed in their later schooling, studies, and careers. To this end, we have developed an education and training package for the subject area of science and technology on the topic of the human body. We have created an animation and an AR (Augmented Reality) template with an image of a human skin model, supplemented with additional information in augmented reality, to familiarise students with the structure of the skin and the processes that take place within it. The students seemed motivated and cooperative during the lesson in which they watched the animation and used AR. They share their knowledge while applying the technology and solving the tasks. The teachers were pleased with the knowledge acquired by the students. They accentuated the need for a balance in the use of technology, which should not dominate, much less be the only way of obtaining information.
