Izvleček
Zaradi želje po razvijanju akcijskih kompetenc (npr. eksperimentalnih spretnosti) pri fiziki v osnovnih šolah učitelji pogosto iščemo priložnosti za spodbujanje zavzetega in odgovornega ravnanja učencev v šolskem in domačem okolju. Zato smo izvedli tehniški dan Fizika v šoli, na katerem so se ciklično izvajale delavnice s tremi temami: 1) poskusi, ki povezujejo fiziko in tehniko, 2) eksperimentalno ugotavljanje težišča, 3) seminar o povezavi fizike s športnimi disciplinami, konkretno z atletiko. Ker smo izzive delavnic zastavili kot problemske naloge, so učenci z zanimanjem spremljali delo: od začetnega razumevanja problema, prepoznavanja cilja naloge, predvidevanj in izvajanja poskusov z najprimernejšimi metodami dela do sinteze ustreznih ugotovitev.
Učenci so pri praktičnih dejavnostih uporabljali že usvojena znanja fizike in naravoslovja ter nemalokrat tudi izkušnje in ročne spretnosti. Prek povratnih informacij učencev je zaznati, da na tak način poglobijo in utrdijo razumevanje fizike ter spoznajo konkretno uporabnost tega predmeta v raznih življenjskih situacijah.
Abstract
Physics in School Technics Day
In our desire to develop action competences (e.g. experimental skills) in primary school physics class, teachers are often looking for opportunities to encourage dedicated and responsible actions among students both in the school and home environment. For this reason, we organized a technics day called Physics in School with workshops that were carried out cyclically and were focused on three topics: 1) experiments connecting physics and technics, 2) experimental determining of the barycentre, 3) seminar on the connection between physics and sports disciplines, more specifically, athletics. Since the challenges were delivered in the form of problem solving tasks, the students were interested in the work – from the initial understanding of the problem and identifying of the goal, predictions, experimentation using the most appropriate work methods to the synthesis of the findings.
In their practical activities, the students relied on their already acquired physics and science knowledge, and frequently also on their experiences and manual skills. Based on their feedback, it can be concluded that this type of work helps them upgrade and refresh their physics knowledge as well as learn how to use it practically in various everyday situations.
