Izvleček
Članek se osredotoča na teorijo in model distribuiranega vodenja kot enega sodobnih glavnih vzvodov izboljšanja praks vodenja in ključnih komponent šolskih reform ter delo t. i. »srednjih vodij« kot vira in načina možne delitve vodenja. V uvodu so predstavljena strokovna in znanstvena izhodišča ter v nadaljevanju različne formalne in neformalne vodstvene vloge, ki jih prevzemajo strokovni delavci in strokovni organi zavoda in jih lahko umestimo v srednje vodenje v slovenskem šolskem sistemu. Kot primer dobre ureditve srednjega vodenja prikazujemo Irsko. Prispevek se zaključi z vprašanji, ki si jih morajo zastaviti sistem, ravnatelji in strokovni delavci v povezavi z načrtovanjem in uresničevanjem srednjega vodenja v Sloveniji.
Abstract
Middle Leadership: Concept, Levers, Possibilities, and Opportunities
The article focuses on the theory and model of distributed leadership as one of today’s main levers for enhancing leadership practices and an essential component of school reforms, as well as on the work of ‘middle leaders’ as a potential source and manner of distributed leadership. The introduction describes the professional and scientific background and the various formal and informal leadership positions assumed by practitioners and professional bodies of the institution, which can be fitted into middle leadership in the Slovenian school system. Ireland is an example of a middle leadership arrangement. The article ends with recommendations for the system, head teachers, and practitioners regarding the design and implementation of middle leadership in Slovenia.
