Spodbujanje branja v prvem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju na Osnovni šoli Dobova

V prispevku so predstavljene različne oblike motivacije za branje in obiskovanje knjižnice učencev prvega vzgojno-izobraževalnega obdobja, ki jih na OŠ Dobrova pripravlja šolska knjižničarka v sodelovanju z učiteljicami. Poudarek je na spodbujanju družinskega branja s pomočjo knjižnega cekarja ter s pripravo knjižnih čajank za starše in učence, ki je postal že vsakoletni kulturni dogodek šole. Podrobneje je predstavljena dejavnost »knjižničar za en dan«, ki jo na šoli pripravijo ob tednu otroka. Druge aktivnosti, s katerimi spodbujajo branje in obiskovanje knjižnice, so še: vsakotedenski obiski prvošolčkov, izbor za mojo naj knjigo in noč v knjižnici.

Abstract

Fostering Reading in the First Educational Period at the Primary School Dobrova

The article presents various forms of motivating students to read and visit the library during the first educational period that are prepared by the school librarian together with the teachers at the primary school Dobrova. The emphasis is on encouraging family reading time by offering a library basket and organizing tea parties for parents and students which have become annual cultural school events. The library activity called »Librarian for a day« organized during the Children’s Week is described in greater detail. Other activities implemented with the purpose of fostering reading and library visits include: weekly first-graders’ visits, »My Favourite book« selection and »Night at the library«.
