Povzetek

Učitelji s procesom učenja z raziskovanjem razvijamo otrokove sposobnosti in njihove predstave o naravi, okolju in družbi. Z eksperimentalnimi dejavnostmi pri učencih spodbujamo samostojnost, aktivnost, samostojno reševanje problemov in učenje iz lastnih izkušenj. Učenci 2. razreda so eksperimentalne dejavnosti izvajali pri ustvarjalnem krožku in med odmori. V prispevku so opisane dejavnosti ustvarjalnega krožka, pri katerem so učenci izvajali eksperimente. Izvedli smo 10 poskusov, nekatere smo nadgradili. Pri vsakem so učenci napovedali, kaj se bo zgodilo in ugotavljali vzročne povezave.

Abstract

Curiosity Encourages Inquiry-based Thinking

Through the inquiry-based learning process, teachers develop children’s abilities and their notions of nature, the environment and society. Through experimental activities we promote our pupils’ independence, activity, independent problem solving and learning from their own experience. Year 2 pupils carried out experimental activities during a meeting of the creative club and during breaks. The article describes the creative club activities during which the pupils conducted experiments. We conducted 10 experiments and upgraded some of them. In each experiment the pupils predicted what would happen and determined the causal links.
